The Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association (HPNA) is seeking a liaison to represent HPNA with the Pediatric Division of the National Coalition for Hospice and Palliative Care. The Pediatric Division was established to create a presence of interdisciplinary pediatric palliative care leaders within the Coalition. The goals of the division include delineating key priorities to improve access to pediatric palliative care; galvanizing crucial stakeholders, organizations, and resources; and forging ongoing collaborations across the field of pediatric palliative care. The HPNA liaison to the NCHPC Pediatric Division would serve a two-year term. The estimated time commitment would be approximately two to four hours per month for monthly virtual meetings, meeting preparation, creation of reports for the HPNA Board of Directors, and occasional calls with HPNA staff. In addition to this, the HPNA representative may be required to attend an annual face-to-face meeting (expenses would be covered.)
