I have been a nurse for over 30 years with experience in Med-Surg, intensive care, and surgery. In 2013 I decided to try management and completed my Bachelor of Science in nursing. My vice president approached me to work in Hospice when the former Director retired, and I have been the hospice Director for the last eight years. I am a certified hospice & palliative nurse, recently completed my master’s in nursing for executive management and am working toward becoming an adult gerontology primary care nurse practitioner. My goal is to work in our system long term care as a Hospice & Palliative Care practitioner.
