2024 Item Writing Committee Workshop
Apply to become an item writer for HPCC! HPCC is seeking volunteers interested in writing items for a certification exam. HPCC will host a virtual Item Writing Workshop for the following certification programs: ACHPN, CHPN, and CHPNA. Each participant will receive detailed instructions on how to write multiple-choice test items and receive mentoring from experienced item writers. Participants will have the opportunity to develop skills in writing questions for submission to HPCC for future use on the examinations. Experience in item writing or test development is NOT required.
If you are interested in becoming an item writer, applications will be accepted through November 6, 2023. Selected participants will be notified by email.
Item writing is a great way to meet other healthcare professionals and become involved in shaping the certification experience!
