HPNA is forming a new task force, to create grant-funded resources and learning opportunities for RN members. The task force will begin work on November 1, 2025, and will conclude on or before August 30, 2026.
The task force will be comprised for 8-10 HPNA RN members. Individuals will be asked to attend a 45-minute meeting every other week an spend an additional 1-3 hours per month outside of meetings. The task force meetings will take place on Mondays at 3:00 p.m. ET, beginning on Monday, November 10.
The task force will aid in topic and content creation for RN specific resources, including microlearning offerings, live workshops, interactive learning experiences, and podcast episodes. The task force will also help with the creation of an RN toolkit, comprised of relevant job descriptions, clinical note templates, and other helpful resources.
At the end of the project, volunteers will be eligible to receive FPCN and HPAR credits. Ideal task force candidates are current RN members of HPNA who are currently working in hospice and palliative care, and who are passionate about helping to produce educational products.
At the completion of the grant-funded initiative, RN members will have a dedicated webpage or “home”, with access to tailored resources and educational offerings. This webpage will look similar to the previously created APRN home page, which can be viewed here.
