HPCC seeks individuals passionate about developing a culture and processes prioritizing diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. The committee will be responsible for identifying and preventing barriers to certification. It will collaborate with the HPCC Credentialing department to support unbiased and equitable credentialing exams for all test takers.
This committee will consist of 7-9 members who will serve a 3-year term with the opportunity to reapply for a second 3-year term.
Requirements for members of the DEIB Committee:
· HPCC certification.
· Understands and adheres to the committee's requirements including a time commitment of approximately 3.5 hours a month. This includes 1.5 hours of monthly virtual meetings, 1 hour for subcommittee projects as needed, and 1 hour prep time for committee/subcommittee meetings.
· Communicates openly and honestly.
· Possesses energy and enthusiasm for expanding awareness of diversity.
· Commits to a culture that embraces diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
· Previous diversity and inclusion task force or committee experience is preferred but not required.
