Hospice and Palliative Care Subject Matter Experts Needed! The Polaris RN modules for nurses new to hospice and palliative care (1-3 years) are being revised. We need SMEs to work with HPNA and an instructional design team to update current practice recommendations to the following modules:
Module 5 Performing a Holistic Assessment for the Seriously Ill
Module 6 Managing Symptoms: Cardiac and Respiratory
Module 7 Managing Symptoms: GI, GU, and Integumentary
Module 8 Managing Neurological and Psychological Symptoms
Module 9 Illness Progression and Urgent Syndromes Overview.
Module 10 Care of the Patient Nearing the End of Life
Module 11 Exploring Ethical Issues in Palliative Care
We are looking for individuals with the following qualifications:
Years of Experience: 3+ years in hospice and palliative care
Certifications CHPN, ACHPN
Honorarium provided
